Every week I read a lot of stuff online – blogs, articles, reviews, etc. I see my share of the good, the bad and occassionally even the ugly. But oh so often I come across something so great that I want to share it with everyone I know.
This week I read and liked:
5 Tips to Growing Blog Organically – if you are struggling to get subscribers to your blog, read this excellent article by Michel Fortin. Since I love everything that leads to a more organized work-flow, I found his tip #4 about extending the blogposts to be autoresponders particularly interesting. I’m going to try it this weekend!
Twitter Analytics: Bio Information and Popularity – yes, another one of a series of posts from Themos Kalafatis of Life Analytics. This time he talks about specific words that, when included in the Twitter bio, appear to correlate in more or fewer followers.
Travel Full Time for Less Than $14,000 a Year – if you wish you could travel more, but “life keeps getting in the way”, read this post. It has nothing to do with internet marketing or business. But I thought the ideas and resources in this very thorough post were fantastic. I’m sure to use them for my own travel adventure… just as soon as I get an opportunity.
Tips for Creating Buzz with Facebook Events – this is not exactly the latest, I’ve had it in my Reader for a little while now. But coming from Mari Smith, the Facebook guru, this is worth a read, not just a scan through.
