Every week I read a lot of stuff online – blogs, articles, reviews, etc. I see my share of the good, the bad and occassionally even the ugly. But oh so often I come across something so great that I want to share it with everyone I know.
This week I read and liked:
10 Lessons from a Failed Start-Up – an honest and grounded review of 10 mistakes that prevented a technology start-up from really taking off. My favorite lessons are #4 – time is more valuable than money, since one can always raise more money; and #5 – marketing makes all the difference and is not something “a smart novice can figure out part-time”.
Twitter Analytics: These Words may be Affecting Your Popularity - if you every wondered how to get more followers on Twitter, read this post. It is heavy on methodology – the author, Themos Kalafatis, is an analytics consultant. But the results are stated in a clear and consize way, such as “Some of the words -and their synonyms- that were found to be associated with very low follower counts are … ” (you’ll have to read the rest yourself).
101 Ways to Use PLR – I love lists, especially as extensive and well-organized as this one.
